The MSA Latchways Personal Rescue Device (PRD) is a completely self-contained self-rescue solution for those working at heights or in areas where the risk of a fall is present.

Lightweight and unobtrusive, the PRD is housed within an enclosed pouch built into a full-body fall arrest harness. It works in conjunction with a fall arrest system or roof anchor point.

In the event of a fall, the PRD will suspect the wearer. Then, by pulling the release cord, it will easily and safely lower them to the ground in a controlled descent.
