Asbestos Safety Training Courses | September Course Dates

Course dates now available for 10675NAT Course in Asbestos Awareness and 10559NAT Course in Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials for October and November 2019

Height Safety Engineers has published new course dates for the above courses. The course dates cover October and November 2019. These courses are now open and available for booking via our online training portal.

10675NAT Course in Asbestos Awareness Dates:

Monday, 7 October – 8.00am to 12.00pm
Monday 21 October – 8.00am to 12.00pm

Monday, 4 November – 8.00am to 12.00pm
Monday, 18 November – 8.00am to 12.00pm

10559NAT Course in Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials

Monday, 7 October – 12.30pm to 4.00pm
Monday 21 October – 12.30pm to 4.00pm

Monday, 4 November – 12.30pm to 4.00pm
Monday, 28 November – 12.30pm to 4.00pm

All the above courses will be held at our state-of-the-art training facility in Sydney. They will be run by our experienced trainers and assessors.

10675NAT Course in Asbestos Awareness is a compulsory qualification for all workers in the ACT who an employer or other Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) believes will work with asbestos or asbestos containing material.

10559NAT Course in Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Material is a mandatory qualification in the ACT for all workers in the following occupations:

  • Air-conditioning and mechanical services plumber
  • Air-conditioning and refrigeration mechanic
  • Cabler (data and telecommunications)
  • Electrical or telecommunications trade assistant
  • Electrician (general and special class
  • Gas fitter
  • Plumber (general)
  • Plumber’s assistant
  • Telecommunications technician

The ACT Government also requires that any other person who many come into contact with asbestos or asbestos containing material in the course of their would have this qualification.
