10559NAT Course in Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials
October
Monday, 7 October – 12.30pm to 4.00pm
Monday 21 October – 12.30pm to 4.00pm
November
Monday, 4 November – 12.30pm to 4.00pm
Monday, 28 November – 12.30pm to 4.00pm
All the above courses will be held at our state-of-the-art training facility in Sydney. They will be run by our experienced trainers and assessors.
10675NAT Course in Asbestos Awareness is a compulsory qualification for all workers in the ACT who an employer or other Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) believes will work with asbestos or asbestos containing material.
10559NAT Course in Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Material is a mandatory qualification in the ACT for all workers in the following occupations:
- Air-conditioning and mechanical services plumber
- Air-conditioning and refrigeration mechanic
- Cabler (data and telecommunications)
- Electrical or telecommunications trade assistant
- Electrician (general and special class
- Gas fitter
- Plumber (general)
- Plumber’s assistant
- Telecommunications technician
The ACT Government also requires that any other person who many come into contact with asbestos or asbestos containing material in the course of their would have this qualification.
