Provide telecommunications safely on roofs is a training course designed specifically for installers of telecommunications equipment on residential roofs. This can include those undertaking the installation of fixed wireless internet services for the National Broadband Network (NBN) or satellite receiving equipment for pay television (Foxtel).
This course offers a focus on the correct use of temporary roof anchorages, and safe access to roofs where there is not likely to be an existing, permanent fall protection or safe access system.

The aim of this course is to provide students with the comprehensive understanding in safe work practices when installing or repairing telecommunications equipment on roof structures. It applies to individuals employed as technicians and installers who are required to safely install or repair telecommunications equipment on roof structures.
